England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have played host to memorable Ryder Cups in recent years. Whether it was McDowell’s winning putt at The Celtic Manor in The 2010 Ryder Cup or Christy O’Connor Jnr’s 2-iron in The 1989 Ryder Cup at The Belfry, Ryder Cup’s in The UK & Ireland have been some of the most memorable, and, in recent years, successful for The European Team.
Looking back into Ryder Cup history, you’ll see incredible venues like Walton Heath, Lindrick, Royal Birkdale, Muirfield and Ganton as past venues. Each one contributed to the tournament we see and savour every two years.

The Ryder Cup has ventured all the way from New York to Oregon on its travels in The USA.
Wherever the event has taken place, the teams have been provided with a sensational challenge. Recent times have seen the likes of PGA National in Florida take centre stage, where Team USA claimed a narrow victory in 1983 as Europe began to claw its way back into the tournament after many years of US dominance.
Many will remember The War on The Shore as The USA won 14.5 to 13.5 in a hotly contested Ryder Cup at Kiawah Island. The stunning Ocean Course became the scene of a great edition of The Ryder Cup which featured stellar lineups from both Team USA & Europe as golfing greats including Fred Couples, Payne Stewart, Paul Azinger, Seve Ballesteros, Ian Woosnam and Bernhard Langer lined up to challenge for the biannual trophy.
