This is a moorland/heathland course with lots of sheep grazing everywhere which is interesting! There are probably nice views but it was misty & raining when we played it so we couldn’t see anything unfortunately.
Southerndown is perched high above the Ogmore River Valley, and actually looks down on the celebrated links of Porthcawl. The magnificent views of the Bristol Channel are matched by the amazing course; Southerndown is almost unique, in that there are no trees or water hazards, just bracken, gorse and treacherous bunkers.
