THE WORLD'S LARGEST GOLF TRAVEL COMPANY

Head to the UAE in January

With the DP World Tour highlighting the fantastic courses of Dubai & Abu Dhabi in January it is no wonder that courses like Yas Links, Abu Dhabi Golf Club, Emirates Golf Club, The Els Club & Jumierah Estates Earth Course are very popular with Your Golf Travellers in January.

❝One of my favourite golf courses in the world is Yas Links. It combines my love of seaside golf and sunshine, so I'll be returning to Abu Dhabi. Not only is the course stunning, but the hotel and restaurant are second to none, offering service that goes above and beyond.

Abu Dhabi may be home to my favourite course, but Dubai as a whole is my favourite destination. I'm in the process of organising a trip with a few close friends in September next year, lining up a few rounds at Emirates, Jumeirah and Dubai Creek. The skyline backdrop of each - simply incredible.❞

Take a Trip to Morocco in February

Why not go All Inclusive to Morocco for year round sun and courses that pack a serious punch in attracting the avid golf traveller.

❝Assoufid Golf Club is the gem of Morrocan golf. The golf course may be new but offers stunning views of the Atlas mountains as well as excellent course design.

As one of the best golf in the sun destinations, Marrakech is quickly becoming a must visit golfing destination with many, including me, heading here to take advantage of the superb winter sun on offer.*❞

Get some Florida sunshine in March

In the buildup to the first major of the year, the PGA Tour sets up camp in the Sunshine State for four weeks of action packed golfing which has been affectionally labelled as the Florida Swing. Why not follow in the footsteps of the Pro's and visit Florida in March for a fantastic golf holiday.

❝For me, golf in the USA is the epitome of, well, golf. Hundreds if not thousands of incredible courses, all unique in their offering are found here. In March I'm heading (back to) Florida, to sample the Florida Swing courses of PGA National, Bay Hill, Sawgrass and Innisbrook.

After Florida I'll be heading to Augusta, to say I'm excited is an understatement. I'll be renting a car to drive from The Masters to Kiawah Island, where I'll be playing Osprey Point and the Ocean Course, which will certainly test my game!❞

Book the Algarve with your mates in April

The Algarve has always been a popular choice for a golf holiday, places like Vilamoura offer sensational choices of golf courses as well as excellent options for apres golf activities in the Marina with a host of top-rated bars and restaurants.

❝My year of golf starts, as it does every year, in Portugal with some sun-filled fairways. I go with the same group of friends from my club (Kingswood in Surrey) and have the courses, even the order, all locked down.

We head to the west to play Penina and Palmares, central for The Dom Pedro Old Course, Quinta do Lago's South Course and finish off at Monte Rei. Whilst the golf is great it is the mixed grills and 19th hole laughs that make for the perfect golf trip.*❞

Pop over to Northern France in May

Northern France is a very popular destination for a golf trip as the the region is just an hour or so from the south coast of England. Most of our golfers head to the layouts at Le Touquet or Hardelot with Wimereux, Belle Dune and Dunkerque just a short drive away from the town.

❝I'm looking to take a few friends out to Northern France in the summer. La Mer at Le Touquet has been on my bucket list for a while and since it's so easy to get to thanks to the Eurotunnel (only three and a half hours drive from London in total) I don't have an excuse.

I'm also partial to wine and cheese, so what better place to enjoy it.*❞

Head over to South West Ireland in June

Golf has been played at Ballybunion since 1893 and among the largest and most imposing sand dunes in all of Ireland lays The Old Course, ranked by some as the best course in the country. A popular cliche among the golfing community is that Arnold Palmer created the front nine at Tralee with Mother Nature taking care of the rest, this rimgs true when you visit.

❝Known for the golf and the Guinness, I'm doing a bit of an Ireland Tour and ticking a few courses including Tralee and Ballybunion off my bucket list both of which are in County Kerry. I've heard it is one of the most beautiful places on earth and also gives me the chance to pop to Killarney.

After that I am planning on making my way along some of the Wild Atlantic Way to sample some of the amazing courses that offer scenic coastal views.*❞

Visit the Home of Golf in July

The life of any serious golfer is incomplete without a pilgrimage to St Andrews. β€˜The auld grey toon', is regarded by most as the home of golf and you can feel the spirit of golf everywhere you look.

❝I'm kicking off my golf trips this year with a getaway to Fife in Scotland to play the a few of the courses at St Andrews, everyone wants to play The Old Course but the other courses there are great too!

I'm really looking forward to enjoying a pint after golf whilst the bagpipes are playing and then having a little little stroll into town. I'm pairing St Andrews up with a round at Dundonald Links too as it's only an hour's drive away - I'm making the most of it for sure.*❞

Grab some Summer Sun in Bournemouth in August

Located on the south coast of England and is easily accessible by road and train, Bournemouth remains one of our most popular golf break destinations. Golfers can experience a fantastic golf tour with the incredible courses on offer which include Ferndown, Broadstone, Parkstone and the hilltop layout at the Isle of Purbeck.

❝I love the courses of Scotland & Ireland but this year I'm going to travel to Dorset and sample a golf break in Bournemouth. The town is always buzzing with lively bars, amazing restaurants and the beaches are great fun too.

I am really looking forward to ticking the likes of Ferndown, Parkstone & Broadstone off my bucket list. I will also be venturing a little further out of town to tackle the layout at Remedy Oak, my team tell me it ticks all the boxes.*❞

Jet off to the Costa Del Sol in September

The Costa Del Sol is recognised throughout Europe as one of the ultimate holiday destinations for those seeking sizzling sunshine and beautiful beaches, but also by golfers for having one of the best selections of championship courses in the world.

❝Having stayed at La Cala many times, both for work and with friends, it's my favourite resort in Spain. The 3 courses, America, Asia and Europa offer true tests for all types of golfers. Being a mid handicapper my game comes into play on the Europa Course. Asia and America are both a true test and have some great signatures holes.

With over 50 golf courses in the area, I'm spoilt for choice of what to add on to my next visit.*❞

Live it up in Lisbon in October

Lisbon’s exciting landscape has everything you could ask for in a golf holiday; stunning Atlantic beaches, lively cultural attractions and most importantly, some truly outstanding golf. Make Lisbon the destination of your next golf break.

❝Whether you're staying in Cascais or at the Praia Del Rey resort this region of Portugal is great value for money. My personal favourites are the Oitavos Dunes and West Cliffs layouts.❞

Treat yourself to a Mauritius Holiday in November

The crystal blue waters and white sand beaches that surround Mauritius provide everything you could want from a luxury holiday. Featuring some of the world’s top 100 golf courses, this small island is not to be underestimated and with some of the world’s most recognised designers having left their mark on Mauritius it truly is a wonderful place to play.

❝I travelled to Mauritius many years ago but didn’t get a chance to see Belle Mare Plage. We constantly receive amazing feedback from this resort and I’d love to take on the Legend and Links courses.

I would have to combine a visit to Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club on my next trip, it is quite possibly a golfing a paradise as the pristine fairways skirt the crystal blue waters of the Ocean and is a truly remarkable setting to play golf in.*❞

Experience South Africa in December

South Africa is a stunning and beautiful golfing destination, often described as β€˜a world in one country’. Boasting a number of fantastic golf courses each in their own unique settings; you're likely to see wildlife off the rough, greens bordering the coast and of course a strong ocean breeze.

❝For me, a true all round travel experience would be venturing to South Africa, from Pearl Valley to Leopard Creek to my favourite resort in the World, Fancourt Golf Estate, there really is so much on offer here. Paired with a phenomenal wine tour and safari, South Africa really is a standout destination.

Leopard Creek really is a bucket list experience, with a chance of seeing the Big Five from the golf course. Fancourct has an array of top class accommodation on site along with 3 World Class golf courses, this is a must experience for any avid golfer.*❞
