If you could draw what your perfect golf holiday would look like I have a funny feeling it may look a bit like the Canary Islands. Located off the North coast of Africa, the group of four islands are famous for the year round sunshine and picturesque white and black sand beaches.
Despite the fact it may not have the plethora of world famous courses that mainland Spain is home to, it is certainly not sure of quality as all of the courses provide players with a truly unforgettable golfing experience. The combination of sun, sea and fairways is the perfect recipe to create one of the best golfing destinations in Europe.

Just a short ferry trip away from Tenerife is the beautiful island of La Gomera. On an island that locals believe to be magical, Donald Steel was put in charge of designing a golf course that not only blended in with but matched its natural beauty.
To say he delivered in doing this is an understatement. The 18 holes skirt the dramatic Atlantic Coastline and gift players with picturesque views of Tenerife and the active Mount Teide Volcano.
