This is s really nice hotel, but it’s not as nice as it should be! Once you get there the location is great with lovely views over the course. However the trip from the airport is torturous involving a very narrow road with dozens of hairpin bends, but I guess that’s the way it is on Tenerife. The restaurants are good but expensive and the main one which is a buffet gets rather repetitive. There were a couple of problems with our room including air con / heating that didn’t work, soap dispensers that weren’t refilled and early morning noise from the corridors. All were put right with a couple of phone calls but I didn’t think that should have been necessary in a place claiming to be one of the luxury small hotels of the world.
The Melia Hacienda del Conde is tucked away in the most North Westerly point of Tenerife and boasts fantastic views of the nearby Teno Mountain range. With a mild climate all year round and an array of stunning golf courses nearby, this is an ideal location for your next golf holiday in Europe.
