The course gets a lot of use due to the great weather in Fuerteventura but stands up well. The greens are brilliant. The variety of holes is good for a resort course the second is a true test with a very difficult tee shot to a narrow fairway. Free range balls and push trolleys for each round are an added bonus The only thing that lets the course down is a lack of sand in the bunkers and the tee positions on the 6th,16th & 18th holes. They are tucked away behind plants & palm trees so tee shots don’t stray into local villas. This means you aren’t playing the course as it was designed to be played.Still a very enjoyable value for money trip
Set on the breathtaking east coast of Fuerteventura, with the enchanting Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, Fuerteventura Golf Club is a beautiful, yet challenging course, where the wind can be the biggest hazard. The club helped to stamp the island on the golfing map, playing host to the European Tour’s Open de Espana in 2004.
Located less than 10 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport, and mere moments from the hotels, beach and neighbouring golf course, the club is in an ideal location for visiting golfers. The course is designed around three lakes, making for an exciting round before you explore the rest of the island.
