Fantastic course, heather and longish carries off tees was difficult for some of our group and the greens were not at their best due to weather and spiking. Club house a little tired, but staff were fine. cant wait to come back!
Beau Desert Golf Course is situated on a parcel of land that was formerly a part of the Beaudesert estate, owned by the Marquess of Anglesey. In a meeting held in 1911 a decision was made to make use of the 'hills at the back of the church' as it would be a suitable location for the golf course.
Herbert Fowler was commissioned to design the layout and it has since transformed into a breathtaking heathland course. The fairways are adorned with heather and gorse, surrounded by vast expanses of firs and spruces, creating a truly stunning setting.
