The staff and members at Abersoch were extremely friendly and welcoming. Condition although only marked as 3 stars, could almost be graded seperatly, as the course is divided into the Links holes and Parkland holes. The links were great and very enjoyable, great views. The parkland holes were pretty wet and not upto the standard of the Links.
The free draining sandy soil at Abersoch is perfect for golf, and Harry Vardon's 1907 design made full use of the natural landscape with a terrific course.
