The Dinah Shore Course is the yearly host of the ANA Inspiration Tournament, a Major Tournament in the Women's golf calendar. The Course has hosted the Major for over 40 years. Each year, the winner of the tournament traditionally celebrates her victory by jumping into 'Poppies Pond' which is found around the 18th green.

The hotel exudes the quality that is synonymous with the highly regarded Westin resorts, and offers its guests spacious and well appointed rooms and suites. Standard features include satellite television, high speed internet access, direct dial telephone, Westin's trademark Heavenly Bed, a deluxe bathroom, and the finest bedding and linen.
Architecturally, the hotel is built in a Spanish-Moorish style, and overlooks the resort's championship courses. With the awe-inspiring mountains rising in the background, there are few more beautiful places to enjoy a memorable golf holiday in California.
The Westin complex at Rancho Mirage has plenty to keep the kids occupied, while the older generations are sure to enjoy the delightful Spa, whose range of indulgent treatments comes highly recommended. Of the three outdoor swimming pools, Las Brisas, with its 60-foot water slide, is the most entertaining. The well-equipped fitness centre has everything required to guarantee a truly invigorating work-out.
Amidst the Spanish-Moorish architecture, the dining options are superb - head to Bella Vista for fantastic views and equally stunning mountain views.
During the day and the early evening, the poolside grills at La Paloma or Las Hadas are ideal for a relaxing cocktail and a bite to eat.
The Agua Caliente Casino is just a mile from the hotel's doorstep.
The accommodation was excellent. Very spacious and serviced regularly. We had a sunny patio overlooking the golf course. The only annoying thing was being charged an extra $22 a night to self park the car.
