Villamartin Golf Club is one of Alicante's most established courses, having played host to the 1994 Mediterranean Open which was won by Jose Maria Olazabal following a playoff with Paul McGinley.
The course at Villamartin was designed by the legendary architect Robert Dean Puttman, who designed the North and South courses at La Manga. The layout at Villamartin takes full advantage of the natural, undulating terrain with Olive trees lining the fairways and elevated tees providing scenic panoramic views.
Situated on the southernmost tip of the Costa Blanca, just 25 minutes from Murcia airport and around 40 minutes from Alicante airport, this little gem of a course is the ideal addition to a golf holiday in Alicante.

0800 043 6644Built on the hilly land just West of La Zenia where there are excellent accommodation options, Villamartin Golf Club has a challenging par-72 layout that extends beyond 6,700 yards and is a genuine test.
The two loops of nine are very distinct; the opening half spans the higher ground of the club, affording splendid views over the coastline, while the back nine runs through the valleys amid the ravines. This variation and stern challenge helps to make Villamartin one of the most appetising courses on the Costa Blanca.

Overall very good, the staff in the pro shop was miserable didn't want to be there, no welcoming and the course Marshall was arrogant and rude put a dampener on the round
Super course but have seen it in better condition
All good
A stalwart what you see is what you get 🇪🇸
Terrible course and certainly not welcoming.
Beautiful mature course with true greens. A pleasure to play on. Driving range was poor.
Greens lightning fast a difficult course for mid to high handicaps
Visitors not allowed in the members only car park and must park outside in the busy street. Tee 1 reserved for members for first 2 hours of play. Visitors play from tee 10 and cross over after 9 holes - nightmare congestion. I did not feel welcome at this course and will not return. The starter was excellent despite all the course and member shortcomings.
Greens were very quick but the course itself was a little 'worn' and despite our tee time being 10.04 we had to start on the 10th both rounds which isn't the easiest or best way to play the course.
Course is a bit tired and it was rough in places. Obviously well played. The clubhouse was also old and well worn.
Course condition a bit scruffy after heavy rain. Very attractive course, great back 9. Lovely clubhouse bar and great food.
Very nice course but tricky.
Difficult golf course in pretty poor condition for the time of year and the greens were very slow. It's a hilly course and you don't see your tee shots land too often on the par 4's and 5's. We won't be going back.
