0800 043 6644Despite hailing from Scunthorpe originally, 2-time Major Champion Tony Jacklin has created his Signature Course in Marrakech as a desert style. Utilising the natural landscape to create a memorable layout that contrasts between sand and water to create a Championship test that is sure to provide a memorable golfing holiday in Morocco. The stand out hole on the course is the par-3 16th which, with it's island green, is similar to what you would've seen at TPC Sawgrass in Florida. Jacklin has been able to create a striking layout that is sure to become a popular choice for golfers in years to come. With incredible views of the Atlas mountains and easy access from central Marrakech, this will quickly become a must play in Morocco. Measuring more than 7,100 yards from the back tees, golfers are sure to be tested against the par of 72, however with 5 different sets of tees to select, regardless of your handicap you'll be sure to find something suited to your game.Jacklin's designs have seen him lay his mark all the way from The United States, most famously with Jack Nicklaus in their creation of The Concession Golf Club in Florida, to Spain and to Cyprus. With this new development in Morocco golfers can expect the same challenge throughout with wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers ready to snare any off line shots. Once finished on the course, golfers are sure to enjoy the incredible mountain views from the clubhouse terrace.
A lot of waste land on course
This course will be great in about 5 years on nearly every hole there is building going on with rubble on the pathways any even builders laying on the tees would give a miss at the moment
Disappointed that Your Golf Travel booked us onto this course, especially on our last day. It was a poor course, far too easy with very little interest. The whole course is surrounded by villas, many still under construction making it noisy and untidy around the edges. Compared to other courses not particularly welcoming and poor facilities.
Rough at the edges Fairways need lot of TLC 19th hole was a downer There buggies were in short supply
Poor course which felt more like a building site most of the time with building round the course overspilling on to the fairways and constant noise while playing shots. The course was not well maintained with even the fairways difficult to get any consistency and the sand in the bunkers like concrete. There was also little thought gone into the course, most holes were dead straight with few features, only 3 holes was water a dnager at all and little thought on how to make teh corse more interesting, do not play here
The course is nice and interesting, well kept. It's surrounded by lots of ongoing construction so not at all picturesque. Was disappointed to find the restaurant not open, not ideal as we were playing 2 rounds Bunkers not great and any wayward shots left you on unplayable ground wide of the ruff
Course in great condition considering only 3 years old especially greens and fairways but not difficult.
