The Race to Regnum
Amateur golfers to compete at bucket list UK venues for ultimate all-expenses 5* trip
Amateur golfers have been given the unique opportunity to compete at some of the most prestigious golf courses in the UK, including St Andrews, Royal Porthcawl and Royal Birkdale.
Dubbed in the golf industry as ‘The Race to Regnum’, the Iconic Series will see six regional events held across the UK in 2023, with the winning pairs from each event earning a seven-day, all-expenses paid, 5-star trip to Turkey for the series finale.
The series has been organised by Your Golf Travel in collaboration with PING and Regnum Carya, where the finale will take place.
The six pairs that make it to Regnum will compete in three final rounds, including one round of night golf, to clinch the inaugural Iconic Series trophy, as well as a range of exclusive prizes from PING and Your Golf Travel.
However, every participant at each event will receive a special PING x Your Golf Travel goodie bag.
The series will kick off on the famous St Andrews Old Course on 9th March, before heading to Cork in April, where entrants will play Old Head and Fota Island.
Next up, in May, is Remedy Oak and Bramshaw Golf Club in Bournemouth, followed by Royal Porthcawl and The Vale in Wales in June.
The series will then head back up north to England’s golf coast and Royal Birkdale and Formby Hall in September, before the final regional qualifier - a ladies-only event at Woodhall Spa, the home of England Golf.
The winners from each event will then compete in the Race to Regnum finale at Regnum Carya in Belek, Turkey, from 13th-20th November.
