Admirals Course

The Admirals Course, formerly known as the Masters, is the jewel in Oakmere’s crown and a true test of nerve and skill. This 18-hole championship layout will make you think your way around, with strategically placed hazards demanding careful course management.

The course weaves through mature woodland and opens into heathland stretches where punishing heather awaits any errant shot. You’ll remember its slick, tricky greens and the sense of satisfaction that comes from navigating its challenges, particularly the formidable 4th hole, a long par-4 that requires two exceptional shots to find the green in regulation.

Commanders Course

The Commanders Course offers a friendlier but no less engaging experience. Originally a 9-hole layout, it has been thoughtfully extended to a full 18 holes using 18 separate tees to 9 greens, creating a course with a distinct and enjoyable personality. It is slightly shorter than the Admirals but shares its beautiful heathland and woodland setting.

The layout is perfect for those looking to build confidence, warm up for a bigger challenge, or simply enjoy a fun, sociable round with friends. It’s a fantastic complement to the main course, ensuring a visit to Oakmere can be tailored to any golfer’s preference.

Captains Course

An excellent introductory Par 3 course that accommodates golfers of every skill level. Perfect for beginners to grasp the basics of the game, especially when receiving instruction. Additionally, it's suitable for seasoned golfers looking to refine their short game abilities. The course is crafted and constructed across heathland terrain, featuring shots over heather in certain areas. With holes varying from 70 yards to 165 yards, it caters to all types of shot-making skills.

Facilities & Clubhouse

If you want to sharpen your game before you play, the facilities at Oakmere are second to none. The club is home to an outstanding floodlit driving range, where every bay is equipped with advanced Toptracer ball-tracking technology. This allows you to receive instant feedback on every shot, play virtual courses, and compete in fun games. It transforms a simple practice session into an interactive and genuinely useful experience. In addition to the range, there are putting and chipping greens available, allowing you to fine-tune every aspect of your short game.

Accommodation at Oakmere Park Golf Club

Golfers wishing to base themselves at Oakmere while on a Nottinghamshire golf trip can stay at The Farmhouse, a newly renovated self-catering property that blends modern style with spacious comfort. Ideal for groups or families it provides 3 bedrooms, with 4 double beds accomodating up to eight guests.

The home features a large cosy living room with a log burning fire and a well-equipped kitchen ready for your culinary adventures. There are three bedrooms including a master with two double beds and an ensuite bathroom. A second family bathroom serves the other two rooms.

Outside you’ll find a large private garden to enjoy and a private driveway with space for two cars.

Good

Course obviously has a lot of traffic. Greens very poor. Fairways tatty. Good setting and some challenging holes. Good driving range This was not meant to be our golf course , but YGT had to move us as their error

Nice welcome Another longish course but in good condition, wr had a sunny day so we saw it at its best slow players in front kept us waiting on most holes leading to some bad tempered play and comments A couple of sections are very hilly so not for the less mobile Greens were very fair but difficult to read
