Perched on the Mediterranean coast in Belek, Nobilis Golf Club is one of the originals that helped put Turkey on the golf holiday map. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 1998, it is a mature 18-hole parkland course that feels established from the first tee, with tall pines, calm water lines and that proper resort-golf atmosphere you come to Belek for.
The routing runs through woodland on the banks of the Acisu River and it is a place where position matters more than power. At 6,465 yards it is not a monster on the card, but it asks you to drive it straight, shape the odd tee shot and think about angles into the greens. Pick sensible targets and you will give yourself chances, especially if you are happy taking the middle of the green when the flag is tucked. Get greedy at the wrong time and Nobilis can quickly turn a good score into a grind.
The 10th is the one everyone talks about, with water and sand ready to catch anything slightly off line. It is a brilliant barometer for how well you are controlling your golf ball that day, and you will be talking about it on the terrace afterwards.

A sound strategy and good course management are crucial to making the most of a round here, as the 6,465 yard layout will present birdie opportunities, but attacking at the wrong time can be disastrous.
The 10th is the signature hole at Nobilis, where both the drive and approach shot must have pinpoint accuracy to negotiate the bunkers, streams and lakes that threaten.
