0800 043 6644After opening in 2004, and being re-seeded in 2011, the relatively youthful course maintains fantastic condition all year round. The lush green Bermuda grass fairways are littered with gorgeous white sand bunkers while the ever-present views of the idyllic Andaman Ocean creates the scene for one of the most beautiful courses in southeast Asia. With stages of the course running very close to the coast, expect some sea breezes which might make you re-consider the driver off the tee. Water hazards are in play on no less than seven holes and produce some exceptional island greens, which can be found on the par-5 2nd, par-3 4th and the par-4 5th.
Stats:
Par: 72
Opened in: 2004

Signature Hole: The signature hole at Mission Hills Phucket Golf Resort is the par-4 12th which plays at 481 yards, making it the longest of its kind on the course. A driver off the tee will need to be long and placed on the left of the fairway to give yourself the best opportunity of hitting the green in regulation. However, the green is well-guarded so the second shot will need to be accurate to give yourself a chance to get down in three.
The Thai style clubhouse offers golfers everything they need before and after they play their rounds. Hone your skills on the 22-bay driving range, practice your short game on the putting green and get all the necessities at the pro shop. If you want to relax after the round then head to the fitness centre which includes a sauna as well as a swimming pool.
Across the 64 Deluxe Rooms, 4 Mini Suites and 4 Executive Suites, the five star accommodation at Mission Hills is brilliant for all types of guests. The luxurious rooms and suites come with endlessly comfortable Queen or King size beds, sunken bathtubs, wireless internet and some spectacular views of the surrounding golf course and facilities.
The Dining options at the resort are both top-class whether you choose honey roast duck in oyster sauce and other Thai dishes while overlooking the golf course at Nibblers Restaurant or a light snack and refreshing tropical cocktail by the pool at the Patio Cafe.
Lovely course. Be prepared for individual caddies that drive the buggies. Conversation is limited due to language problems.
Another good test of golf. Great views.
