0800 043 6644The Knightsbrook golf course was designed by ex Ryder Cup player Christy O’Connor Junior and is fast becoming one of the most popular layouts in and around Dublin. Measuring a little over 7,200 yards from the tips the course is certainly long enough to challenge the big hitters while a selection of tees make it more manageable for players with less experience. Built to USGA specifications, the course is in fantastic condition year round and golfer will no doubt enjoy the challenge provided by the undulating fairways, testing putting surfaces and a number of menacing water hazards dotted around the course.
In addition to the fantastic 18 hole golf course, Knightsbrook also boasts good practice facilities and a well stocked pro shop. Visitors can also sharpen up their skills before heading to the first tee by booking a lesson with the resident PGA teaching professional.
Guests staying at Knightsbrook can enjoy a fantastic choice of 131 luxurious and stylish bedrooms including 12 suites. All rooms are designed to be a home away from home and, as well as being supremely comfortable, feature a great range of modern amenities as well as en suite bathrooms. Flat screen TVs with satellite channels and broadband internet connection come as standard and many rooms also boast their own private balconies. Suites are perfect for those seeking added space and comfort featuring additional amenities such as larger bathrooms and Jacuzzi baths.
The Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort boasts some of the very best restaurants in Meath meaning dining couldn’t be easier. Guests can look forward to sampling a great variety of imaginative Irish and international dishes at the Rococo Restaurant, The Terrace Lounge, Swifts Bar and Gulliver’s Lounge. All food is of the highest standard and can be enjoyed alongside warm Irish hospitality.
Those looking for the ultimate in relaxation can make use of the impressive leisure facilities and the on-site River Spa. Signature treatments include Asian Muscle Melting Back Therapy - an unrivalled tension and stress relieving massage for the back, shoulders, neck and head, created exclusively for The River Spa and frequently requested by visitors and guests alike. Whether you are looking to pamper yourself, sooth tense muscles, catch up on some beauty treatments or simply slip away from the world for a while, The River Spa is simply perfect.
We have stayed here previously 3 times, on every previous occasion it has been better. The hotel seems to have a lot of foriegn workers, who struggled in communication. The breakfast and evening meals were not to a very good standard. One of our party even took the liberty of sending his evening meal back, refusing to pay or take anything in substitution. We like Knightsbrook, but the hotel side of thing has dropped its rating greatly on our scales.
Lovely hotel friendly and helpful staff one minor they run out of twin rooms few of us ended up sharing double beds not ideal second time we've been so worth a trip
Hotel has everything you could wish for, from good facilities to bars and terrace areas. Food on both Friday and Saturday nights was very slow in arriving. Over 2 hours to be fed from start to finish. Only negative of a great resort.
We had a great experience with your golf travel the hotel and golf club staff couldn't speak more highly of the service they provided us. Would thoroughly recommend this break to anyone. We will be back thanks Jack
Very enjoyable.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Bed was really comfortable. We had dinner in Roccos restaurant and it was excellent. We spent some time in the bar too and we were very well looked after, excellent staff in every area!
TV in room was a bit of a let down
Great stay and experience. Will definitely return
Considering the stay was still restricted by COVID the staff accommodated all quests to a very high standard.
Best trip away in years. The course was outstanding. And guinness was great
The hotel offers excellent facilities & comfort and a fantastic base for our two night stay. Food was also excellent both nights. All in all a really beautiful hotel offers a 5 star location at 3 star prices.
Ok but felt a bit dated and looked a bit tired in places. Nothing special for me this hotel but staff were ok and nothing really to complain about
We had our annual trip to Knightsbrook at the weekend. As usual all eight of us had a great time, and we are already making plans for the same again next year. Thanks to your golf travel and the staff in the Knightsbrook complex. Regards David
Had a great weekend as always when we stay, will def be booking again Thanks
Lovely quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin, but still within striking distance by bus. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Six of us girls stayed for 2 nights and 2 games of golf. The whole break was just delightful, we couldn’t fault a thing.
Booked 3 rooms on Fri. 2/11/18. Facilities were first class, had excellent meal that night. Staff were very helpful with any query and we really enjoyed our stay.
An excellent hotel and golf course. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hotel was very comfortable. Very relaxing. Did not make use of pool facilities due to opening times (pool is not open late). Overall a really lovely place.

This golf course is of the highest rating, all the facilities are top notch, one small complaint is that the buggy hire is getting out of order, 50 euros for a buggy for visitors, yet members were being charged 25 euros for the same facility. Surely 30euros is enough to charge for these for 18 holes.
Course is great greens tricky but fair bit long for our standard of golf but we all enjoyed the challenge 👍
The course at Knightsbrook was in great order, the weather was a bit crazy for late June, but nothing can stop mother nature. Would recommend this golf course very highly.
Beautiful weather, course in great condition. Another enjoyable experience.Would definitely return.
very enjoyable. overall a great trip.
Really nice course. Very well manicured through tee boxes, fairways and greens. Ideal test for beginners through to the most experienced of players. Par 3s were very quirky and lots of fun to play. Really good course!
Smashing course, long, but forgiving
Beautiful course. Interesting but not overly fancy. Extremely well laid out and signposted. Fun 🤩
Greens were lovely ... held the ball well but were still slick for putting on with subtle breaks. Only minor down side of the course (and it was minor) were the bunkers. Very brittle/hard sand or very little sand in some of the bunkers. Also loose grass cuttings around the course in the rough (makes it difficult for finding balls at times) albeit we would definitely return to Knightsbrook.
We only managed to complete 11 holes due to heavy rain. However the course is a good test with some interesting holes.
Knightsbrook is a fair but good challenge. We played it of the Green tees on a windy day without a lot of run, so played long on the day. Still a great course for a Group, no one will be disappointed. Happy to play it any day of the week.
Nice course, difficult for me as inconsistent off the tee and straight and long is a necessity here. Greens fast with lots of borrow. Plenty of penalties/water so a challenge I would expect even for the proficient golfer. The only real let down was the speed of the round, 6hrs. Sat behind a big society every shot with no intention for through-play. Ruined it for me and although compensated given after complaining, I personally will not have the opportunity to redeem so although nice will avoid this course and opt for somewhere with a less traffic
Great course in great condition.
Great course and challenge the greens were perfect, all the guys enjoyed the course
This is a long course, and challenging on the par 4 holes for an average handicap golfer. It was in excellent condition, with the greens consistent across the 18 holes. Golf course facilities were good. An attractive course with plenty of water to keep you on your toes, overall an enjoyable experience.
The only thing wrong was the strong wind. Even yourgolf couldn’t do anything about that, but I’m sure if they could they would
Staff were very accomodating with a change of teetime. Course well maintained and greens in great odder
An excellent course. Hard but a fair test.
Fantastic course. Tests your putting. Greens were in top condition and quick. If your ball was above the hole chances are you would be 3 putting. Huge ladies competition was taking place that weekend meaning course was perfect.
