0800 043 6644Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas have stated that the site they were given for relocating King's Lynn was ideal for a golf course and they produced a charming layout which weaves its way between a heavily wooded tree line.
The par 72 course has matured into a challenging layout and is considered by many to be one of the finest and most scenic inland courses in East Anglia.
Course management is key to playing well at King's Lynn, the experience has been compared to the likes of Wentworth, Woking & Woburn. The fairways look narrow so position off the tee is vital, it sounds obvious but finding the wrong side of the fairway is going to impact your score.
Golfers will have to negotiate a number of dogleg holes while some include an extra obstacle of a tree planted smack bang in the middle of the fairway. The par five 9th hole is visually impressive with an elevated tee looking down on a dead straight fairway to the green in the distance. Long and straight is the key to having a chance of reaching the green in two here.
