Played in march, the fairways were very firm and in great conditions. They required playing off fairway mats which was slightly disappointing considering the quality of the fairways. All in all though it was amazing
Closest to the West Sands, The Jubilee is arguably the toughest test in St Andrews, with numerous challenging driving holes to negotiate. Its position at the point of the estuary makes The Jubilee the most exposed to the elements, most notably so on the tee at the par-3 ninth, facing a long iron into a rock-hard green. The closing stretch features a succession of difficult par-fours, where holding together a score is as tough as it gets.
