Fantastic place and setting. Kwanza huts amazing place to stay, especially when the Zebra’s come and graze right in front of you. Great game drives, our guide Kelvin was a top bloke and sundowners with the giraffes was a highlight. He did a great job of hunting down the lions on a misty damp evening too! Nice cocktails and good food.
Golf Holidays in South Africa offer so much more than world-class golf courses, of which there are plenty! The likes of Oubaai, Fancourt, and Pinnacle Point which lie along the famed Garden Route are just a few famous courses to look out for during your South Africa Golf Holiday, but in truth, it’s away from the fairways where The Rainbow Nation truly excels, with world-class food and wine, breathtaking landscapes and of course, truly unique wildlife.
A stay at the Gondwana Game Reserve - an 11000-hectare private reserve that lies in the heart of the glorious Garden Route - offers the chance not only the chance to play the aforementioned championship courses (all of which are within an hour’s drive of Gondwana) as well as many others but also to set out on a safari to catch a glimpse of South Africa’s spellbinding wildlife including, of course, The Big Five (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, and Leopard).
The animals are not the only attraction to be in awe of when staying at this 5-star establishment though. Set against the fantastic backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains, guests are treated to stunning views in every direction, as well as fine dining within the reserve, relaxing spa treatments at the Spa, and a multitude of accommodation options and ways to experience the magic of a safari.
