The Emperor

The Emperor course is the main 18 hole course at Golf & Relais de l’Empereur . The par 72 golf course measures in at 6,201m and is by no means a modern goliath that we see on the tours today. However, it is very unique and offers golfers a round of peace and quiet to savour. The narrow nature of the course provides a different test of a golfer’s game as opposed to challenge of distance meaning that accuracy off the tee is imperative if you are wishing to shoot a low round. Often the greens on the course are elevated and protected by a moat of bunkers, so player’s must ensure that their approach is spot on in order to avoid the sand. The course is also a fascinating trip through nature with their being many flora and fauna lining the fairways that you don’t see anywhere else in Belgium.

La Hutte

The nine hole course on offer at the Club is top of the range. It is the ideal place for beginners, youngsters and people of all abilities looking to improve their game. The nine holes equal a distance of 1,601m and is a great technical challenge and is a great training ground for all.

Facilities

The Golf de l’Empereur Relais & Golf Club has one of the biggest golfing academies in the country. The range is state of the art with both astroturf bays for winter use and in the summer guests and members can use the grass range (weather permitting). The short game area is also of an extremely high quality with their being several punkers to practice from, numerous different pitching and chipping spots as well as a putting green which has been deliberately designed with interesting lines in it to make sure you are used to the undulated greens on the course. Recently, there has also been a new winter training building put up which can allow for practice throughout the cold winter months.

Before the round the Pro-shop is the perfect place to visit if you are looking for a new club, new glove, balls, tees or the latest clothing which is all stocked for you. The staff in the shop are also able to help if you need a club regripping before your round or want a lesson - all to make sure you play as well as possible and a have a pleasant experience at Golf de l’Empereur Relais & Country Club. There is also the chance to rent a trolley for your round of you do not fancy carrying your bag for the round. After what was hopefully a successful round, the clubhouse is the perfect setting for the famed ‘19th hole’. The 18th century building is a great place for drinks and food with friends.

Relais de L'Empereur is an elegant hotel, offering spacious rooms, suites and lofts-apartments for short and long stays.

All rooms are non-smoking, equipped with individual heating and cooling system, HD Smart TV, safe, mini bar, telephone, wifi, desk, and many other high-end features.

Standard, Superior and Deluxes rooms are designed for 1 to 3 people, with a king size bed or twin beds, these rooms each have a private bathroom with bath and walk-in shower and a relaxation area with club chairs or a sofa. The Deluxe rooms have a balcony.
