0800 043 6644Huge greens, guarded closely by rafts of colossal bunkers, are the predominant challenge around Trent Jones' course, and unlike many of his signature designs, Castelconturbia is open to visitors.
Hosting the European Tour's finest as recently as 1998, Castelconturbia ranks among Europe's elite, and should certainly be included in a memorable golf tour north of Milan.
Castelconturbia is ranked as one of the best courses in Italy
We just played nine holes on the yellow loop. (We had been meant to play 18 on a separate day, but the course was closed due to high winds). The tees are a bit scruffy, but the course is generally very scenic, and the greens and fairways are in good condition.
Blue course hard to play but a very interesting one, yellow course much easier. All I’m all 27 holes, red one not played.
