The Glen is a beautiful spot with the most incredible views from the holes which run beside the coastline. Perhaps overshadowed by the neighbouring North Berwick GC, but priced correctly aligned to standard of condition and facilities. Suitably playable for a varied ability group. Their signature 13th hole would be excellent if the tee was pushed up to the front of the tee box (which is blind from the back tee) and would give you a stunning view of the hole as it descends green bound (hopefully!). Clubhouse/Pro shop welcome is friendly and you are made to feel at home. Basic facilities in the clubhouse, but suitable for most.
Glen Golf Club is one of the most popular seaside courses in Scotland, which was established in 1906 when Ben Sayers and James Braid were commissioned to extend the existing nine to the championship 18-hole layout, in situ today.
The course runs along the East Coast which offers striking views out to the Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock, the world’s largest northern gannet colony.
North Berwick is famous for the West Course but be under no illusions, The Glen is a fantastic complement to the West Course.
East Lothian plays host to a lot of superb golf courses and once you have past Gullane you head through the beautiful North Berwick to the East of the Town to find the Glen.
