Designer John Morgan, once a player on the PGA Tour, carved out some tremendous holes from the towering pines that are so characteristic of the landscape.
The course is compiled from three separate nine-hole loops called the Pines, the Beeches and the Forest, with the different combinations adding welcome variety to a golf break. Regarded as the finest golfing venue in Lincolnshire if not beyond, Forest Pines superb layout is well worth a visit.
With the recent completion of the £10 million refurbishment plan, the hotel and resort facilities at Forest Pines are now a match for the outstanding golf course - the complete package for a fantastic golf break.
Forest Pines' excellent golfing layout is embellished by the superb practice facilities, where visiting players can choose to sharpen their skills, or take some personal advice from the team of PGA professionals.

Hotel was superb. This is our 2nd time here. Food was great, although if your a pig like me portion sizes are fairly small but still great quality. Room was clean and comfy. Facilities I’ve heard are good but I personally didn’t use anything bar the golf range. The pro shop has plenty to offer and the practice green is a great place to have a side bet with friends. Not thing I’d say about the range is its irons only. No woods.

Hotel really tidy, beds comfortable and meals good. Pines bar well designed as every seat had a view of a TV screen showing live Masters golf.

The room was very accommodating everything ee needed. Extractor fan in bathroom a bit noisy though. Staff Coral and Silvia on reception great. The standout staff 'Phil' was working in the evening restaurant, he went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. thank you

Great course, just a shame the greens were being hollow tined. If we had know we would have booked somewhere else and returned when the greens were in good shape

Had a great 2 days. Tight course tricky holes but very enjoyable. I’d say the best 2 9’s are forest and pines. The only gripe I have is the greens weren’t great. Lots of bobbly putts. I appreciate we went in mid April but our local course greens have had the same treatment and in way better condition. But that being said it was just down to being treated. I’m sure in a couple of weeks they’d be great. Very challenging

Golf played at the right speed, no waiting on tees or for greens to clear. Some areas of fairway bare soil, greens had been hollow tinned. Other than that fantastic course.
