The parkland course measures 6,299 yards from the championship tees, which is not long relative to many modern courses, but hazards in the shape of dense woodland and treacherous water make good scoring a considerable challenge. As this complex has been sold and apparently closing the golf course, we were their last guests .We were treated to free wine and looked after very well. Such a shame as the golf course is very picturesque.

General impression was the facility, hotel and golf course was both in need of reburbishment/investment, possibly as a result of two years lost income due to covid effect. However the staff service could not have been more friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Firstly the golf was good. Friendly staff very accomodating good food good drink. Rooms very comfortable but was unaware the beds would not be made.I have skin condition told the staff and quicker than that had clean sheets and bed was done every day after. Would definately stay there again.

As previously stated as it has been sold ,obviously all the members had left and apart from four other guests we had the course to ourselves .Millionaires Golf !!! I wouldn't hesitate to use your company again.

Course was hilly, buggy recommended for elderly golfers. Greens were not at their best and would require financial investment to bring them up to standard ( several were heavily invested by moss ).

Great course but the landscape, tight fairways and hazards, make it more difficult that it appears. The course was busy but we was able to go round at our pace with no pressure from front or people behind us. The professional was very helpful in telling us about the course. The only downside was they had spiked and dressed the greens on the first nine holes and they had not had the anticipated rain to help the sand and dressing soak into the greens.

the tees were perfect as were the fairways . All are a pleasure to play off . the greens are not very good at all but have been told they are being sorted . However they run true and can hold a ball .

Some lovely holes very challenging . There was alot of water on the course and the greens have suffered due to it . However the weather is not the courses fault and should not detract from the game which we thoroughly enjoyed .not so many days ago I can see the course would have been in marvellous condition
