Excellent clubhouse and reception and well organised. Fairways were in good order with difficult rough. There were too many bunkers and all the sand was compacted like playing off concrete. The greens were extremely fast and very difficult to read the slope. One of course staff declared if you 4 putt you are doing well.
One of the most important European golf courses built in the last decade, The Elea Golf Club near Paphos, Cyprus, was designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo. This golf course along with Aphrodite Hills has helped to put Cyprus on the map as a premier golf destination, ideal for those wanting to spread their wings and find fairways elsewhere in Europe.
The course is built using the lay of the land and there are many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards as well as tricky greens to test all golfers.
