As well as the wonderful restaurant there are also two bars: the Piano Bar (ideal for afternoon tea or a pleasant social drink) and the Pool Bar (located next to the outdoor swimming pool, the perfect place to soak up the Madeiran sunshine).

Good

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the room was sweltering, even with the fan on! (No air conditioning!). The breakfast and food was really good though and the staff were friendly. Not ideal if you want a bit of nightlife
