0800 043 6644Home to two of the most celebrated golf courses in the United States, The Broadmoor Golf Club will be the main attraction as far as visiting golfers are concerned.
The East Course and the West Course were laid down by famous architects Donald Ross and Robert Trent Jones Senior, so quality is assured, and with multiple sets of tees on each and every hole, golfers of all abilities will be able to find their comfort zones and enjoy these marvellous layouts. In addition to 36 holes of championship golf, golf lessons, as well as quality selection of golf accessories, club rentals, and gifts can be purchased at The Broadmoor Pro Shop.
Known for its wide, tree-lined fairways and expansive putting complexes, the East Course at The Broadmoor comes in just shy of 7,400 yards from the championship Blue tees and having previously hosted countless top level events, including the 1959 US Amateur which was won by a certain Jack Nicklaus, the 1995 US Women’s Open won by Annika Sorenstam and most recently the 2018 US Senior Open; it’s clear the course is well set up to test the skills of even the best golfers.
Thankfully, three additional sets of tees allow the course to be played from a more manageable yardage, with the Red tees reducing the total length of the course all the way to the 5,700 mark; perfect for golfers looking for a friendlier test of golf!
The quality of the East Course hasn’t been lost on leading golf publications either, receiving excellent reviews from many sources, and was even one of only 12 North American and Caribbean golf courses to receive a five-star rating by Golf Digest! It’s not just the quality of course that Golf Digest took notice of either, with The Broadmoor also having been ranked number one for customer service.

The West Course at The Broadmoor may be 400 yards shorter than the East Course, but by no means is it a pushover. The fairways are tighter and more tree-lined here than they are on the East, and with putting greens that pose just as many questions to the golfer, it’s not just an accurate driver you’ll need to score well.
Like the East, Donald Ross (of Pinehurst fame) is largely responsible for The West Course at The Broadmoor having laid down the original design back in 1918, but the course has benefitted from Robert Trent Jones Senior having sprinkled his magic dust here too, having also worked on the course in 1964.
The West gently traverses the mountain slopes, gently climbing up throughout the front nine before descending back towards the clubhouse on the back nine, and offers breathtaking views from start to finish, most notably on the stunning 13th and 15th holes.

As the longest running winner of both the AAA 5 Diamond and Forbes Travel Five Star awards, luxury is guaranteed at The Broadmoor, but this Colorado Springs resort offers so much more than the finer things in life.
Its location at the foot of the Cheyenne Mountains allows easy access to America’s Wild West, so in addition to the two superb golf courses at the resort, guests can also experience the beautiful Pike National Forest while hiking scenic trails, fly fishing in private lakes or even exploring the mountains on horseback.
Accommodation options include 784 guest rooms located at the main hotel, as well as a number of suites, cottages, wilderness cabins and larger private accommodations called The Estate House and Brownstones, both of which are ideal for large groups of golfers looking for something with a more private feel. Hotel rooms options include Classic, Superior and Premier and range in size, but all boast luxurious furnishings, an old worldly style and all the modern amenities you’d expect of a world class resort hotel.
When it comes to dining, you’re spoiled for choice at The Broadmoor, with no less than 10 restaurants and 10 cafes and lounges located on resort. Enjoy fine dining at the Penrose Room, Italian delicacies at Risotrante del Lago, hand cut prime steaks at La Taverne or traditional fish & chips, pot pies and a great selection of beers and ales at The Golden Bee; the resort’s very own English style pub. With many more options available you’ll never go hungry at The Broadmoor and with in-room dining also available, you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your room to grab a bite.
The Broadmoor excels further still when it comes to activities and facilities away from the golf courses, cafes, bars and restaurants. Soar through the tree tops and experience “The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado” with a trip to Seven Falls and The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure course, or thanks to the resort’s superb location on the doorstep of the Colorado wilderness, try your hand at outdoor pursuits including fishing, hiking, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing and even falconry! Broadmoor Outfitters can even hook you up with a Wild West Experience where you can try your hand at archery, shooting and even a spot of tomahawk throwing!
On-site facilities like The Broadmoor Tennis Club, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness club and The Broadmoor Spa complete the package, and ensure your time spent away from the golf course can be as action-packed or relaxing as you wish.
