0800 043 6644Opened in 1959, the course was originally designed by the brilliant architectural partnership of Cotton and Harris, however over 40 years later the course was in need of some amendments to protect its international reputation. This task was undertaken by Peter Alliss in 2000.
The 6,542 yard layout has hosted a number of prestigious professional events, as well as the Italian Amateur Championship, and provides a good test for visiting golfers of all abilities. The easy access to the city makes Bologna Golf Club a firm favourite, especially with those enjoying a golf holiday based in the delightful medieval city.
A delightful parkland course with views of the surrounding hills and trees to die for. The fairways were immaculate with barely a divot and the greens lightning-quick and true. Falling leaves could make finding balls a challenge later in the season so definitely one for spring and early summer
Tough course for first time since there are a few blind holes and the scorecard doesn't show anything of the course. Brilliant, friendly staff who leant over backwards to help with rearranged tee times. Couldn't have asked for more.
A good opening course for mid-handicappers. Tees a bit shabby, but overall good.
A good layout, but not in great condition when we played.
