The TPC Scottsdale Stadium course regularly hosts "The Greatest Show on Grass" the Phoenix Open. The popular Waste Management event brings in some of the largest crowds in PGA Tour golf.

The Stadium course which was renovated in 2014 is a Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish design and is most famous for its short 16th Hole, nicknamed "The Coliseum". The green is surrounded by spectator stands which hold up to no less than 20,000 fans watching the spectacle that unravels through the four days of play.
