0800 043 6644The course is well maintained, and the mature woodland, lakes and streams of the valley make for a beautiful backdrop. Though not too long, the course is tricky, and scoring well will require mastery of the short game. Avisford Park is a good resort course, which will be enjoyed by all those visiting on a golf break in the Arundel area.
The superb clubhouse's terrace is the perfect place to have a well-earned drink and analyse your round.

The striking building that now hosts Avisford Park Hotel was formerly the home of a preparatory school for boys, before its conversion in 1975. Since then, the hotel has established a reputation as one of the best in the local area, while the rural estate remains an extremely beautiful setting.
The facility is perfectly equipped for a relaxing golf break, and is also a superb choice for a corporate outing, with meeting facilities to host up to 550 delegates. The standard and deluxe rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the suites offer that extra luxury for a special occasion.
For your next golf break in the South-East, Avisford Park will provide luxury in a charming traditional atmosphere.
The LivingWell Health Club has a well-equipped gym, with a wide range of cardiovascular training machines and free weights, while there are also scheduled classes like yoga in the aerobics studio. The sauna, steam room, indoor pool and solarium are perfect for winding down, while guests can also be pampered in the health and beauty salon. The hotel's grounds also include facilities for tennis, squash and croquet.
The Cedar Restaurant is an elegant dining room, bedecked in white table cloths, where the chocolate pudding is a speciality.
The Lounge Terrace and Bar is ideal for a relaxing meal and a drink.
Great/helpful/smiling Staff. Restaurant meal was great. Breakfast very good. Bar staff great. Sunny terrace with comfy seats great. Swimming pool for early dip. Rooms were comfortable.
Staff were great! Very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated well.
Hotel is a bit tired and needs some cosmetic touch ups but was ok for a nights stay. Bar and restaurant ok food was reasonable
nice hotel and facilities. Good choice on the food menu.
nice course to play. the front 9 is relatively flat, while the back nine looks more mature and has some interesting holes. the thriteenth for example is great and fun. would recommend.
Staff welcoming on arrival and ensured we had everything that we needed for the little boy in the party. They booked our dinner and breakfast times and gave a detailed description of the facilities and where to find then. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, a fan was provided in the room as no AC. Firm bed, tea tray, stocked bathroom and large TV. Food was excellent quality and was surprised at the choice available for the evening meal considering it was included in the weekend deal. Breakfast full English, cereals, pastries, yogurts etc. Excellent value for money.
The hotel is in a good location, however the building is a little tired, as are the rooms and in need of an upgrade.
Due to restrictions it was hard to judge the hotel but overall it was very good

Club house was very basic, and not in line with standard of Hotel. Needs some money spending on it. Adjoined immediately to Hotel bar after rounds. Fairways needed cutting back in semi-rough. Some Bunkers full of gravel & little sand. Greens needed alot of watering & quite patchy. Front nine quite up/down park land with mature trees. Back nine more interesting & challenging holes. Not really a thinking mans golf course. If you can Bash it long off the tee happy. Saturday round quite slow. 6/10
Course was in good condition, perfect for a weekend away. Not too busy so we didnāt feel rushed at all.
Afraid this one wonāt be on my list for a return. Pro shop closed and all golfers being dealt with by the barman who was struggling with tee times on a busy weekend. Sorry but I like some etiquette and golfers in tea shirts and cargo shorts just doesnāt have a good look on the golf course. As for the course front 9 was ok but back 9 hard as hellā¦.
Strange course. 2 completely different 9s. The front was very in keeping with the hotel with a very pleasant parkland layout. Golfers then cross a road to a farm land style back 9. it was fine but no way as nice as the front 9.
Nice course to play. the front 9 is relatively flat, while the back nine looks more mature and has some interesting holes. The thirteenth for example is great and fun. Would recommend, play again.
Front nine was pretty forgiving and mainly flat, back nine was more challenging with hills etc. Great course for all levels of golfer
The first round, the course hadn't been cut for a few days and the greens very spongy. The course was much better the 2nd and 3rd day, following a cut and the greens had dried out a little, but still very soft.
Again restrictions stopped us giving a proper assessment
