Barceló Tenerife sits in the sun-soaked south of the island, a short drive from Los Cristianos and well placed for several of southern Tenerife's top courses, including Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf and Golf Las Américas. If you're chasing winter sun, Tenerife is a reliable shout, with milder temperatures and far more playable conditions than back home when UK courses are saturated.
This 5-star, all-inclusive resort suits golfers who want an easy, low-faff trip where you can focus on tee times, good food and a proper reset between rounds. It's also a strong option for mixed groups, with enough on-site to keep non-golfers happy while you're out on the course. Expect plenty of pool time, space to unwind and a relaxed holiday feel rather than a golf-only boot camp.

Rooms at Barceló Tenerife are designed for downtime after 18 holes, with 272 rooms across the resort. A key perk for golfers is the outdoor space. Each room comes with a furnished terrace, which is ideal for drying kit, relaxing with a drink or getting organised for an early tee time. You also get a hydromassage bathtub in-room, a welcome touch if you've walked 36 in the heat. If you fancy levelling it up, sea-view rooms are available for those Atlantic mornings before you head to the first tee.
On-site facilities are a big part of the appeal. The resort has seven outdoor pools, including one heated year-round, so you can still swim comfortably in the cooler months. There's also a navigable lake, plus active options like a climbing wall and a beach volleyball court if you want something different from another afternoon on a sunlounger.
For recovery, the Wellness centre offers health and beauty treatments, ideal for loosening up after a long day on the fairways. If you're travelling with non-golfers, or you've got a mixed group, the resort's wider leisure setup makes life easy, with a children's playground, evening entertainment in the show room and extra sports areas to keep everyone busy.
All-inclusive keeps the trip straightforward, with meals and drinks wrapped into the package so you can settle into a simple rhythm: breakfast, golf, pool, dinner, repeat. The location near some of Tenerife's finest courses makes it a practical choice for anyone planning a southern Tenerife golf itinerary, and we'll sort tee times and transfers so you can just show up and play.
