You’re in one of two categories during lockdown in regards to social media; either your screen time has gone up by a very high percentage each week or you’ve had enough and deleted your apps to try and use the time more effectively.
We’re not judging either way, but if you’re keen for a bit more golf entertainment (like us) this blog is for you.
Keep reading to see our Top Social & YouTube Accounts to Follow right now. We’re confident they’ll keep you topped up in golf tips, knowledge and LOLs through lockdown as well as when we emerge the other side.
Twitter Accounts to follow
Eddie Pepperell
Let’s start with Eddie Pepperell. Proper English sarcasm at it’s finest, Eddie chats about his fellow players, the rules and often shares pictures of his dogs (big thumbs up from us). His tweets cause a little controversy every now and then and his new podcast is a treat for the ears.
Got another great golf tip for you all today. It’s actually such a good tip I can’t believe I’m giving it away for free! And it’s simple, really simple… just cheat.

Lee Westwood
Next up is our Chief Holiday Officer Lee Westwood. His twitter is full of throwbacks to the good old days, with plenty of photos from the tournaments he’s won (he’s been on tour just a few years now ?), pre-hair cut selfies and the occasional horse betting tip. We love his humour, friendliness and to the point tweets.

Padraig Harrington
This year’s Ryder Cup Captain Padraig Harrington has been helping us keep our game in check with some brilliant golf tips to try at home. From your short game to the mental side of the sport, if you want your game to have improved during lockdown, hit the follow button now.

YGT Rory
It would be rude of us to create a list of ‘who to follow’ and not include our lad @YGTRory. Our YouTube superstar (Or Digital Content Creator in more professional terms) has worked for YGT for 8+ years now and knows a thing or two about courses around the world. If you can get past the fact he has a permanent man bun (we think it suits the chap) and you enjoy watching golf fails that are relatable to the average golfer, as well as the occasional fluke, Rory is your guy.
TODAY’S FLASHBACK: Y’know…casual up and down from that awkward bunker distance. For a birdie. To close out the match. In front of a former world number one. No biggie. ????♂️ pic.twitter.com/O6ITy5Umtp

Subscribe to these Youtube channels
Forget boxsets and movies, we’re all about course vlogs, best shots and challenges with Pro golfers. YouTube has some of the best golf content of all time, so grab the popcorn and settle in.
The European Tour
The European Tour’s YouTube channel absolutely nail the re-runs of the best pro-tracer shots, best lucky bounces and hole in ones but they are also great at getting players involved in the fun stuff. One of our favourite challenge videos and a new format this year is Luck Of The Draw with Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston and Viktor Hovland.
Mark Crossfield
Mark Crossfield’s vlogs are often filmed when playing courses around the globe with Coach Lockey, YGT Rory and Dan Hendriksen. PGA Pro Mark was one of the first golfers to get on YouTube to review courses, review clubs and throw some banter in between. He’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but his videos are entertaining and give a great idea of the best spots to scope out for your next trip.
Seb On Golf
Seb On Golf is next on our YouTube list. There is alot of variety in his videos including vlogs from The Old Course St Andrews, putting drills, and the lockdown latest Isolation Invitational – where the top golf video creators are battling head to head in the WGT online game. He’s enthusiastic about the sport and good fun to watch.
Your Golf Travel
If you like light-hearted entertainment and golf that we can all relate to (stone cold top off the first tee…) we think you’ll enjoy our channel. We have a few special guests, most recently in the form of Nick Dougherty to provide some solid entertainment as we show you around some of our favourite courses around the globe.
Paige Spiranac
Last but certainly not least is Paige Spiranac. An ex-professional golfer who shares her love for the game, ways to stay fit and golf tips for all levels of golfer. Whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for years, Paige has a down to earth view on the game and is great at explaining technique to help you improve.
Hopefully it’s not too long until we’re all back on the fairways but until we get the green light, stay safe everyone & enjoy your new social media feeds full of golf!
