The Hotel Quinta do Lago is located in the Resort of Quinta do Lago in the Algarve, right next to the Formosa Estuary (or Ria Formosa) and the majestic Atlantic Ocean, in the very centre of the Ria Formosa Nature Park – just 20 minutes drive from Faro International Airport.

Rooms & Suites
Accommodations at Hotel Quinta do Lago come in the form of Suites, Premium’s or Classic Rooms – all of which are decorated elegantly and well equipped to offer you the best comfort for relaxation and pleasure during your stay.
In all the Rooms and Suites you will find a top of the range king-size bed or two single beds, a 32” LCD TV, minibar, electronic safe, radio alarm-clock and Wi-Fi. All en-suite bathrooms have warm towel racks, hairdryer, illuminated maquillage mirror and a full amenitites collection as well as a luxury bathroom and slippers.

Bars & Restaurants
Of course, as a member of the “Leading Hotels of the World”, the Hotel Quinta do Lago has a fine selection of eating and drinking options for its guests. Diners may choose from two restaurants, each with its own distinct character, “Brisa do Mar” and “Cá d’ Oro”.
Brisa do Mar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving a superb selection of Portuguese and International Cuisine. It provides its diners with stunning views over the Formosa Estuary and the beach, which can be enjoyed from either the indoor dining area or the magnificent open-air terrace. On offer for guests is a wide range of traditional Portuguese specialities and international dishes, all of which have been excellently prepared by Chef Gerhard Pölzl. The restaurant is renowned for its fresh fish dishes which include “Fresh Fish in a Salt Crust”, “Rice with Seafood” and the famous “Algarvean Cataplana”.
Cá d’ Oro is exclusively open for dinner, serving delicious traditional Italian Cuisine in graceful surroundings. Customer favourites on the menu include e “Fillet of Gilt-head Bream with Tiger Prawns” and “Suckling Veal Chops with Grilled Vegetables”. The sweet menu includes classics such as the famous “Tiramisu” and the delicious “Crème Brûlée”; however there is also the option of something a little more surprising and original like the “Pear Ravioli Stuffed with Cottage Cheese and Raisins”.
The hotel’s wine list is especially remarkable for the vast selection of wines featured and the frequent new additions, meaning that customers who enjoy a glass of vino with their meal can usually discover something fresh and exciting to complement their food.
Speaking of drinking, guests at the Hotel Quinta do Lago also have access to the Laguna Bar. A graceful piano bar which is able to provide you with the opportunity to take pleasure in a superb evening cocktail as well as the unforgettable sunset and panoramas from the terrace or large windows. The hotel is also able to boast a Pool bar which is open during the summer season, it serves a great range of light snacks and refreshing drinks – perfect to enjoy whilst relaxing by the pool.

Beach
The Quinta do Lago beach is one of the finest beaches in the Algarve, located just a short distance from the hotel this beautiful sandy beach is a haven for sunbathers. Nestled in the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park guests may enjoy the bird watching and stunning flora and fauna if the lagoon as they stroll to the beach.
During the high season residents of the hotel can take advantage of the private beach club which provides towels, lounge chairs, beach umbrellas, water and fresh fruit.
The sandy beach is just minutes away from the hotel – so plenty of time for relaxing.
Spa Facilities
The superb Quinta do Lago Hotel Spa has four massage treatment rooms, gymnasium, heated indoor pool with counter-current and massage jets, a Turkish bath and a sauna. It provides a great choice of treatments, massages and packages for an experience of real relaxation and well-being.

Golf
As the Hotel Quinta do Lago is located in one of the most extensive and most prestigious golf resorts in Europe you would expect, as a guest there, that you would have access to some truly amazing courses. And you’d be right to think so.
Quinta do Lago has hosted a number of prestigious competitions, both professional and amateur; it therefore guaranteed to be top quality golf. The three magnificent championship tracks are among the best in Europe! The South, North and Laranjal Courses are all serious tests of golf and each have their own individual qualities which make them pleasing to play.
The magnificent Laranjal Course is the most recent addition to Quinta do Lago’s golfing portfolio.
Away from the courses at Quinta do Lago, Hotel Quinta do Lago is also situated within close proximity of the two outstanding courses at Vale do Lobo: the Royal and the Ocean Course. The Royal is an epic cliff-top course, whose iconic 16th hole has, over the years, become one of the most photographed holes in the world. The Ocean Course on the other hand differs greatly to its older brother, whilst the tight Royal demands precision above all else, the Ocean demands golfers to use a higher level of creativity to score low round this challenging track.
