Golf bosses have banned models from working as sexy caddies, accusing them of ‘devaluing’ the sport. The girls from north-west London based company Eye Candy Caddies are available for £230 a round to rake bunkers, help with registration and provide “light banter”.
Leaderboard Golf, which owns and operates courses including Chart Hills, Dale Hill, Sandford Springs and the Oxfordshire claim the girls devalue the reputation of golf.
A Leaderboard spokesman said: “With golf having been shortlisted to become an Olympic sport, anyone who seriously cares about the development of the game should work to ensure it is as professional, inclusive and culturally inoffensive as any other major sport.”
“We are not being killjoys in objecting to a service which invites men to select from a photo menu of young women, often pictured in their underwear, who are to be judged according to the merits of their responses to questions such as ‘What is your favourite body part’.”
Managing director Sarah Stacey said all of the models complete a training course managed by golf professionals and she thinks they are “being persecuted for being good looking”.
Sexy ladies on the golf course, whoever would allow that! In honesty it sounds like a great idea, I’ve never had a caddy before but this seems like the perfect match for me.
We had a couple of these girls attend a corporate day we held and they hadn’t a clue about golf? Definitely not trained by pro’s as quoted…..
Having recently watched and enjoyed the golf played by Professional female golfers I presume that Leaderboard Golf would not allow the likes of Gulbis, Creamer, Wie etc on there courses. Or is it alright for them to wear the clothing that is allowed on tour?
Are they banning all female caddies?
What would they do if God forbid I brought my wife (17 H/Cap) as a caddy, Would I be banned as well.
Joking apart a caddy is there to assist the player and if a good looking lady knows enough about golf etiquette, what the hell.
I think it should be stopped too! It’s absolutely pathetic, and the biggest waste of money I’ve seen in a long time. May as well order a plastic girlfriend of ebay.

I once had a young lady caddy for me, as part of support for the junior section, she was a better golfer than me and I worried about her all the way round,
